How are plastic bottles made into garments?
Bottles are collected and brought to recycling facility, and the conversion process begins to turn plastic pollution into wearable fabric, from which garments are made.

bottles
The plastic bottles are stripped of caps and labels and then they are thoroughly cleaned to remove any residue or containment.
They are processed into flakes and washed again to ensure there is nothing left but 100% rPET remaining.
pellets
The clean flakes are transformed into small pellets of pure recycled plastic that is virtually distinguishable from 'virgin' PET.
yarn
The pellets are then extruded into yarn which can be made into just any colour you wish.
garments
The 100% recycled polyester yarn can be used on its own or blended with other eco-friendly yarns to produce fabrics.
From the recycled polyester fabric, garments are made in a modern garment. factory in Africa (AGOA) (African Growth and Opportunity Act Country).

London Exe Ltd has become one of the fast-growing fashion start-ups in London to focus on providing socially responsible fashion solutions: ethical, recycled, and environmentally friendly, in addition to being financially viable. Particularly, two unique fashion solutions are offered: “I used to be a bottle” and “Proudly Made in Africa”.
The fashion solution “I used to be a bottle” is the product line in which the garment is made of recycled plastic bottles, an eco-fashion solution offered to help increase the awareness of ocean plastic pollution and save our planet from the plastic waste.
Racism is still a glaring issue in the fashion and apparel industry. Another fashion solution “Proudly Made in Africa” is the one in which the garment is made in Sub-Saharan Africa, where skilful black workers design and sew in a modern clothing factory. This is aimed to boost black pride, promote black fashion, and support the African economy.
Geoffrey sees a unique business opportunity in socially responsible fashion that combines eco fashion and ethical fashion together, and the market will grow substantially above the average in the UK and globally, according to most experts in the field. Geoffrey believes London Exe Ltd can grow its revenues quickly to more than 40 million US dollars within 4 years.
London Exe Ltd is also created to promote new innovative textile manufacturing process and global supply chain solutions. The company is developing substantial know-how, acquiring industrial best practices, and applying for patents.
